2024-2025 TEAM LOHAS Generation Next

LOHAS Rink Generation Next Program is designed for players to develop their individual skills, enhance their level of competitiveness, and understand the importance of teamwork and ethics.

• Players will be put into small teams that they will play with for the season
• Practices will be station-based focusing on various skills
• The GN Youth League will be played under the Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s “New Game Format” with the purpose of youth development

Our goal is to ensure that our players compete in every practice and game and provide them with a safe and fun environment to develop individually and as a team.

Objective

• A competitive, safe, and fun environment for players to develop their hockey skills

Structure

• Station work with different skills
• Small area game

Content

• 20 on-ice practices
• 10 cross-ice games
• group size ~20 players (each age group)
• Develop fundamental skills: stick handling, skating, passing & receiving, shooting

Coach ratio

• 1 coach: ~5 players (U7) / ~7 players (u9, u11, u13)

Prerequisites

• minimum 1-year experience in skating/ice hockey 
• highly recommend players own their full set of hockey gear, LOHAS Rink does not provide any gear rental

Remarks

• The application will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis, the quota is limited for each age group. 
• For confirmed admission, no transferring and refund will be arranged.
• Qualification of admission refers to a relative quota of age group and specific application.
• Applicants who hold Hong Kong Permanent ID Card and Hong Kong Birth Certificate will also be accorded priority for admission.
• LOHAS Rink reserves the right to final decision.

Special Arrangement

• Training will be canceled when black rainstorm or typhoon signal no. 8 or above is hoisted. Students will be notified individually about the make-up class.
• For outdoor dryland class (if applicable) missed due to inclement weather, a substitute class will be arranged.
• Neither make-up training, nor refunds will be available for students who absent themselves from lessons.
